N.R. Istayeva, an instructor of special subjects, conducted an open lesson for the group 2AU1 on the topic “Pressure, Vacuum, and Measuring Instruments” The aim of the lesson was to explain the concepts of pressure and vacuum, discuss their natural and artificial forms, and familiarize students with the types of pressure measuring instruments.
During the lesson: a video was shown to determine the topic of the new lesson, the expected outcomes were discussed collaboratively, and methods such as “Brainstorming,” “Interactive Lecture,” and “Note-taking” were utilized. Students were introduced to different types of pressure measuring instruments (manometer, barometer, vacuum gauge), and the natural and artificial forms of pressure were discussed by filling in a Venn diagram and completing a table. This lesson helped students gain a deeper understanding of the importance of measuring instruments in industrial processes.
