On May 16, the Kurmangazy Palace of Culture hosted the opening ceremony of the regional championship “Worldskills Atyrau-2022”. This championship will be attended by about 200 students from 21 colleges in the region, 25 of whom represent the Atyrau Agrarian and Technical College named after U. Kushekov. In the championship, held in order to raise the status of working professions, draw special attention to the field of vocational education, and prepare specialists competitive in the labor market, students will compete in 14 competencies. At the sites of our college, the competitive stages of the championship are held in the following competencies: “Railway station attendant of the 4th and 5th grades”, “Veterinary medicine”, “Refrigeration equipment and air conditioning system”, “Agronomy”.
